Lactricia Maja is a Research intern at the Aurum institute. Lactricia holds a BA, BSC and MA degree in Social and Psychological Research.
Her research interest includes any topic that deals with reducing HIV and AIDS, cancer research, people who are injecting drugs, Medical Male Circumcision, gender-based violence, social injustice, & global public health.
Her research expertise includes conducting research using both qualitative and quantitative methods, fieldwork, conducting focus groups and individual interviews, proposal and research report writing.
In addition, Lactricia has experience in conference presentation where she presented about various research topics aligned with her research interests.
Lactricia is currently pursuing her PhD in Public Health at the University of Cape Town.
